Performance, Sound installation

Octave Courtin is one of the artistic co-directors of LAC Project. He graduated from the École européenne supérieure d'art de Bretagne in 2016. Since then, he has been developing a sound practice around performance and installation at the crossroads of experimental music, dance and visual arts. More specifically, he creates research by designing sound objects in which air, breath, the body and vibration occupy a central place. The multidisciplinary nature of his research, alongside Pierre-Benjamin Nantel, the LAC Project collective, the COAX collective or on his own, has led him to work with venues such as Mains d'Œuvres, Baléapop, the Salon de Montrouge, the Centre d'Art de la Graineterie in Houilles, the Subs in Lyon and the Maison des arts de Malakoff, the MAMC+ in Saint-Étienne, the Bon Accueil in Rennes, the SETU festival, the Générateur, the Ateliers des Arques, Les Instants Chavirés, L'Art dans les Chapelles, and others.
