Lou Cantor

Lou Cantor is a performer in the play Les souffles. After studying contemporary dance at the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine d'Angers under the direction of Emmanuelle Huynh, Lou Cantor performed with several choreographers, notably Olivier Dubois, Dominique Brun, Mié Coquempot, Gaëlle Bourges, Mickaël Phelippeau and Béatrice Massin. She regularly collaborates with the latter two as an assistant. In 2018, Lou Cantor created the company Ulysse et Ernest and has now signed two choreographic pieces: Epopées - a piece for eight people from elsewhere - in 2018 and Les Danses du Crépuscule, a piece for nine prisoners, in 2021. Within this company, she works with people who do not have easy access to culture and conducts workshops and creations to allow each person to tell their story through dance.
