Laura Dondoli

Laura Dondoli is an Italian performer, actress and costume designer based in France. After her studies in Fashion Design in Florence and a heterogeneous and non-academic education on stage with international choreographers, musicians and stage directors, she is active in the domain of performative arts since 2009.

Until now, she has collaborated to several projects as actress and/or costume designer- among the others: Romeo Castellucci, Virgilio Sieni, Fiorenza Menni, Teatro delle Albe, Teatro Sotterraneo, ErosAntEros, Silvia Costa- as well as important theatres, festivals and opera houses in Europe (i.e. Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Festival d’Automne, Vorarlberger Landestheater Bregenz, Théâtre du Châtelet, Opéra National de Lorraine, Staatstheater Hannover). 

In 2017 she curated for the Fosca collective the Fosca In Tepidario Festival  'Impermanence' at the Horticultural Garden in Florence, with the aim of implementing exchanges between artistic communities from different fields. The particularity of his artistic career has allowed him to develop a transversal look between costume, presence and performative gesture.
