Ausonia and Les Yeux d’Argos will work together for 24 hours to offer an immersive concert where ancient music and light will plunge the audience into an all-encompassing atmosphere within the Hotel van Eetvelde.
Three worlds meet and respond to each other: architecture, music and video art. They also represent three different time periods that will interact for the duration of the concert.
The Ausonia Ensemble will perform J.S. Bach’s Musical Offering, a work that magnifies the most accomplished musical architecture through contrapuntal writing, of which the Leipzig Cantor is the unequalled master.
The collective Les Yeux d’Argos will highlight the finesse of the architecture of the Hotel van Eetvelde to create a space for contemplation and listening conducive to the concert given by Ausonia.
