The ARTONOV Festival organises

performances in a safe way

Come again and look and listen!  At eight venues in Brussels, our hosts are eager to welcome you and open the doors of their exceptional buildings for you. And we for our part are delighted to once again offer artists a stage to shine on.

The ARTONOV Festival puts the safety and health of you, our audience, the artists and the team first and closely follows the guidelines of the government and experts.

Do I have to wear a face mask? Is it compulsory in the venue?

Yes, we are expecting you with a face mask. The festival team will also provide you with a personalized fabric mask created for the occasion.

Can I disinfect my hands?

When entering the building you have to disinfect your hands at the dispenser. We have reinforced hygiene measures in the toilets and take special care of doors and door handles.

Is there a cloakroom? What if it rains?

For the time being, there is no cloakroom to prevent crowding up.

Will the halls/chairs be disinfected?

Rooms are always cleaned before each performance. The same goes for the stage. We also disinfect the chairs, doors and handles after each performance.

How does the audience circulate?

We have worked out an adapted circulation plan for each venue. Our volunteers will help and guide you through each venue.

What about the seats?

The seats are placed in such a way that the audience can sit in bubbles. There will be a distance of one seat between the bubbles. For people who come unaccompanied, we provide seats at a distance of one seat from each other.

How many people are allowed to sit next to each other?

You can register per bubble of a maximum of ten people. These seats are then placed together but at a distance of one seat from the rest of the audience.

Will the public be escorted to their seat?

Everyone will be escorted to his/her seat on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Our volunteers will make sure that you are guided. Seating begins 15 minutes before the start of the performance.

Are latecomers still allowed?

No, for safety reasons we can no longer admit latecomers. Our performances do not have an intermission. We therefore advise you to arrive on time. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and according to the bubbles.

How is safety on stage guaranteed?

The artists and crew create their own bubbles for the duration of the rehearsal and performance and safety measures are strictly respected.
